Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Oh my gosh guys! I finished it last night. I'm pretty sure I said, "Oh my gosh!" at one minute intervals for the last 100 pages. I couldn't even take it, and am now severely depressed. That's my story. Who else out there is done with it? Did you share in my state of depression?
OMG!
Guess whose drama club is going to Wicked!!!! Mine!!!!! August 24th is the date, and I'm ecstatic. I love all of the drama dorks like no others! It's going to be so fun.
Broadway
Erin and I have decided to audition for a Broadway show. At least one. Will we make it? Probably not, but at least we'd be able to say that we auditioned for a Broadway show once. I actually don't know what I'd do if one of us did make it. We should probably take that into consideration, no matter how extremely minute the chance might be. Ah well. At least we would try. Note the number of fragments in this entry. Atrocious!
Wicked
I have to say that Wicked is the most incredible musical I have ever seen, and I have seen some rather incredible musicals. I have become completely obsessed since I saw the musical June 4th. It's absolutely amazing. I highly recommend that you all buy the soundtrack (at least!) if you haven't already. Then see the show and prepare to be amazed.
Here's a sad story for you.
Alright. I was positively ecstatic about going to Georgetown for three weeks next summer, but it turns out I cannot go. First of all, the session is really expensive and my choir is going to N.Y.C. that spring. Secondly, my family is going to Italy that summer. Therefore, we neither have the time nor the money to send me. I think a little part of me died inside. Politics will just have to wait until I have my semester in D.C. at William and Mary (hopefully).
